Small Private Jets / private Jet Charter Services - In the world of aviation, the pinnacle of airplane flying is travelling in a private jet. With their size, speed, and increased complexity, private jets or business jets offer a challenge unknown to the so called piston-engine aircrafts. The turbine engines were developed because, planes using propellers and piston engines have limits for effectively pushing and combusting thin air at high altitudes. Turbine engines used on the private jets, excel at high altitudes because they compress air before combustion, increasing high-altitude performance. And flying high in thin air translates to better fuel efficiency, an extended flying range, and faster, smoother flying high above the turbulence. That’s why turbines are on most private jets and corporate jets. Turbines have become increasingly popular on smaller executive / private aircraft with the development of small, efficient turbofan engines. The turbines in a turbine engine are fan-like structures. Blades arrayed around a shaft catch air flowing through the engine and turn the central engine shaft. Most modern turbine engines mounted on private jets have several turbines that compress the incoming air at separate stages before it reaches the combustion chamber. Read the rest of this entry

Bombardier CRJ 700

Charter a private business jet - Bombardier CRJ 700. The CRJ (Canadair Regional Jet) family of aircraft was derived from the Canadair Challenger business jet, which began its operational life as the LearStar 600. The Bombardier Canadair CRJ700, which entered service in 2001, is a stretched version of the CRJ100/200 regional jet, with increased seating capacity from 50 to 70. With increased length and upgraded landing gear, the CRJ700 features a longer wing span and leading edge slats. Like other members of the CRJ family, the CRJ700 features an electronic flight instrument system (EFIS) avionics suite and “glass cockpit” instrumentation.
